Meet Taylor.
Small business consumer turned culture protector;
Latina, mixed-race legal educator and thought leader;
Witty with words, an affinity for alliteration, and an overall language-lover.
FEATURED IN
Meet Taylor (she/her)—mom to one tiny human, one sweet (and slightly aloof) English Bull Terrier named Nokona, one brindle Bulldog named Reuben, and founder of Legalmiga® Law. She’s a Cancer sun, Leo moon, Scorpio rising, and somewhere between a long beach walk and a Pilates class, you’ll find her grabbing sushi, craving great Mexican food, or cheering on the Dodgers.
A former D1 softball player turned attorney, Taylor started her own firm to support first-gen, BIPOC, and femme-owned businesses. She believes legal isn’t a luxury—and she’s proof that your lawyer can also be your biggest hype woman.
Most days, she’s in athleisure, reviewing contracts, filing trademarks, and helping business owners protect their brands, work, and peace of mind. Before launching her firm, she worked in consumer protection and went head-to-head with some of the biggest corporations in the country. Now, she channels that same energy into helping small businesses thrive.
Off the clock, Taylor writes for her blog attorneyatleisure.com, lifts weights (but skips the running), and finds joy in the little things—like sunsets, sushi, and the occasional Aperol spritz.

• University of Pennsylvania, B.A. Communications, 2011
I attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, one of the most diverse law schools in the nation. As the first lawyer in my family, I sought out the supportive community of the Latino Law Students Association at Southwestern, where I eventually was named president after dedicating myself to LLSA’s mission to foster a welcoming environment for Latinx law students. -
